Python Programming Evening at Oxford Hackspace

5th December 2016 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Over the last few years, Oxhack has run technology and programming training workshops in several languages for anyone who wants to learn. Recently, we ran our first Codebar minorities programming event with Codebar Oxford, specifically targeting groups that are more difficult to reach.

At the same time, we’ve been building links to some community groups focussed around particular technologies, with the intention that at the end of the day, anyone who wants to learn programming or tech should be able to find something for them at Oxford Hackspace.

So, we’d like to extend a warm welcome again to *Oxford Python*, a community group gathering together professionals and enthusiasts about the Python programming language. They will be gathering at the space the evening of Monday, Dec. 5th to do their magic, and talk about the language and projects at their monthly codemeetup. Oxhack members and guests are of course invited!

Hope to see you there!

Here’s an excerpt from OxPy’s own meetup page (https://www.meetup.com/oxfordpython/) about the event:

This is an opportunity to collaborate on any personal or open source projects or just code in a space with other developers.

Past meet ups have had a great mix of experienced and novice coders, with both Django girls tutorials, first time Flask users plus some interesting open source dev being shared.

If you have any interesting projects you would like to share, please let us know in the event comments.
