Oxhack Hosts IoT Network Meeting

On the 15th of November, Oxford Hackspace will host the first Oxford Internet of Things meeting, with a view to bringing the Things Network to the city. Sign up for the event on its Meetup page.

The Things Network is an open implementation of LoRaWAN wireless technology for the Internet of Things. This means you can use it to connect sensors and devices over a range of 3km+. The aim is to bring together a group to work on getting us a Things Network gateway in Oxford, which will bring the city an open IoT network.
